Cody Simpson joins One Direction

Cody Simpson, the 17-year old Australian pop star who's collaborated with the Biebs himself is set to join the British boyband sensation One Direction next year. One Direction's record label cites the importance of constant reinvention within the music industry as the reason behind this inclusion. Simpson is scheduled to meet with the quintet in January and will officially join the band in Febuary of next year. We spoke to a member of One Direction's entourage and asked him what the boys think of this decision. - The guys are really excited. They're big fans of Simpsons work and look forward to welcoming him as the sixth member of the band. Harry has already skyped quite profusely with Cody and they seem to be getting along really well. We reached out to Simpons representatives but they expressed Cody's unwillingness to comment the news just yet. One thing is for certain, this is a great day for One Direction fans.
