Marvels "Daredevil" sets unrealistic standards for blind people and needs to be banned NOW

I can't believe it. I can't believe Marvel keeps getting away with incredibly problematic movies and TV shows. I can't believe neckbeard nerds keep flocking to them, knowing full well that they are very problematic and that they better keep their cheetos covered fingers off that play button. I can't believe that more people aren't speaking up against this. I can't believe I, Cassidy Boon, social justice activist and generally good person, am the only who dares talk about this. Yes, sometimes the world is unbelievable and shows like Marvel's Daredevil prove that to a T.

Marvels Daredevil is a story about a superhero that goes around kicking and punching people for no good reason - you know, just like any other superhero - but Daredevil has a gimmick, something that sets him apart from the rest of Marvel's misogynist monsters - he's blind. Yes, you heard that right, after a chemical accident in his childhood, Daredevil was blinded and has had to learn how to fight bad guys without sight and the accident also contributed to him getting heightened senses (he can smell stuff from really far away and hear heartbeats of people and shit like that). So anyway, this guy is a lawyer by day and a crime fighter by night. He has some really cool moves and he somehow manages to kick all the bad guys' asses despite being blind as a bat...Um, excuse me? WHAT THE FUCK? The guy is BLIND, how the hell is he able to jump around on buildings, climb fences and brutalize his enemies? It doesn't make any sense, and worse than that, it sets really unrealistic standards for blind people.

That's right. What do you think the average blind person who watches Daredevil feels when they see this man, who is supposed to be blind, doing all these convoluted moves and shit while at the same time being a fucking LAWYER? Yeah, that's right, they feel WORTHLESS. How the hell are blind people going to live up to the unrealistic standards of mobility, fighting power and all that shit, that the disgusting Daredevil show presents time and time again. I can imagine the number of blind kids who see this show and just feel like they want to kill themselves because they can never be like Daredevil. I can see kids bullying blind kids in the playground, saying stuff like "Haha little Timmy is blind but he can't do all the stuff that Daredevil does, what a loser". Marvel, what do you say to the blind kids that will probably swallow too many pills one night after having seen Daredevil and realizing that THIS is what the world expects from blind people? Huh? Got an answer? Didn't think so.

Daredevil obviously has to be banned before it brings further harm to the blind community. I am sure many blind people have already commited suicide as a result of this show and if it isn't pulled from Netflix soon, more lives are at risk. I find it completely INSANE that a company can portray such an unrealistic standards and think that they can get away with it.

Since I am the only one who seems to care about the blind community, I will be the one to bring Daredevil down. I am now officially starting the hashtag #BanDaredevil and I know that it will be the final nail in the coffin for this completely abelist game. EVERYONE go tweet under it and make it grow! Together we can stop Marvels insanity.
