The Stig arrested for public nudity

Too racy? Running gag and frequent guest-driver on Top Gear was arrested this morning for exposing himself on a busy Manchester street.

It seems the beloved autoshow "Top Gear" has been racked by another scandal - and no, it's not one of Jeremy Clarksons personal quarrels that have paved the road to another PR-disaster - this time around, The Stig's very own schlong is the culprit.

Around 11am this morning, several calls were made to local Manchester police about a man wearing a helmet, dressed in all white walking around central Manchester with his pants around his ankles. As police arrived to the scene, they were greeted by the pantless racecar driver known as The Stig, an institution on the popular car-show "Top Gear". Police became increasingly certain that the bare individual was indeed The Stig from the show, as the man began to shout "Free Clarkson" in a slurred voice (an obvious allusion to the current conflict between the BBC and Jeremy Clarkson").

The character, whose real identity is yet unknown, was escorted to a local police station for questioning after a long, inebriated struggle, freeing the high street from the sight of his package. The Stately Harold spoke to a local Manchester man who witnessed the incident, this is what he had to say:

- I've always been a fan of the show, but this is not something i'd like to see on my way to work, I hope he gets his affairs in order real soon...Oh and by the by, I've seen more impressive gear sticks.

TSH reached out to Jeremy Clarkson and James May asking for a comment on the antics of their racecar buddy, but they both declined.
