Spirited find - scientists at Berkeley University prove that humans have a soul

Berkeley University, CA - A team scientists have made a divine discovery - they’ve proved that human beings are not only flesh and blood, but that we possess also possess a soul.

The findings made by the researchers were finalized after assiduous documentation of the weight of patients at California Hospitals before and after their deaths using a highly sensitive nano-scale. The documentation showed that upon the moment of death, the patients had a tendency to lose exactly 0.25 grams of weight. This loss of weight puzzled the scientists at first, as they could find no logical explanation as to what was happening, but when one Christian scientist suggested that the decrease in weight might be the soul leaving the body, the team procured a very reasonable hypothesis. Researcher Hugh Myrone Gaines, explains the findings: “At first we were stunned, it was eerie how each body decreased by exactly 0.25 grams in weight upon dying and we had no idea what could be behind this. At first we looked at different biological functions, such as perhaps gas leaving the body, but the fact that the number was so consistent in all patients, we can only assume that what is leaving the body is something that we all have; a soul.” This discovery is very important, especially for Christians, whose religion centers around the existence of a soul.
