El Chapo: "I escaped prison only to kill Jaden Smith"

Mexican druglord Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera or El Chapo as most people know him, escaped incarceration for the second time from a maximum security prison on July 11th. Ever since then, a manhunt has raged across Mexico and a bounty of 3.8 million US dollars has been set for any information that may lead to his arrest.

Today, a shocking and surprising development has brought this story into an entirely different light. Early this morning in New Mexico, a note was found nailed to the door of a police station. The note was handwritten in Spanish, and read, when translated:

"I am in America. I wipe my ass with the Mexican government - You will never find me. You don't even know why I escaped and that's why I'm going to tell you donkeys. I escaped because I want to kill Jaden Smith. That little brat is unbearable and is coasting on the success of his father despite having no talent at all. I can't stand his stupid tweets and how he tries to be deep. I have been trying to keep calm about him, but now am I so angry that I have to kill his bitch ass. I could have lived peacefully in prison if it wasn't for Jaden Smith and his stupid pseudo-intellectual philosophy. What does he mean "how can our eyes be real?", he doesn't even make any sense. I'm gonna have this pendejo smoked and then I'll hand myself in. That's all I want to do. Look behind your shoulder Jaden, daddy won't save you like he did in After Earth, (which was a shitty movie btw).

- El Chapo"

The police and forensic experts are still verifying the authenticity of the letter and are trying to determine whether it was in fact El Chapo who penned the letter, but right now signature experts are unanimous that the handwriting looks very much like El Chapo's. The Smith family has been notified of the threat to Jaden and the police are now configuring a special protection task force that will keep the teen star safe from any harm.

Jaden Smith has long been an influential celebrity, especially on Twitter, where his sometimes zany musings draw both ire and admiration. Evidently El Chapo is less than amused with the 17-year old's online antics and has chosen to risk his life in escaping prison only to kill him.

Police officer Tony Garcia of the New Mexico police commented the threatening note:

- We knew El Chapo was a dangerous individual but we never thought he would sink so low as to threaten the lives of children. The fact that he is going through all this trouble to get the chance to kill a celebrity boy is frankly unbelieavble and insane. I truly hope the note is fake but we will treat it as if it is real!

We will update you with further details on this crazy spin in the tale of El Chapo. In the meantime, tweet under #ChapoVsJaden to discuss the story.
